For the fourth consecutive year, MGA team joined the XI Magic Line Solidarity Walk of Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona, a solidarity initiative that aims to raise funds for the projects of the Obra Social de Sant Joan de Déu.

The event, which has been held simultaneously in several cities in the state, has raised about 400,000 euros, which will be allocated to research projects or to help the homeless or people with mental health problems among others.

In Barcelona, some 10,000 people, including the 16 members of the MGA team, chose a route among the 12 existing ones, depending on the distance and the difficulty they wanted to assume, to finally meet all the participants at the finish line, located in the Cathedral Avenue, where the event was rounded off with a big party with live music, stilt walkers, entertainment and a “butifarrada” to regain strength.

MGA thus contributes its grain of sand in the form of an economic contribution to this solidarity mobilization, an initiative of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, which aims to finance various projects to promote social transformation.
