The presentation of MGA Access Bio control of access systems for gambling halls took place this morning to at V de Vegas in Madrid, in the presence of a hundred representatives of the main operators. The regulation of access control in communities such as Madrid and Catalonia has led a large group of companies in the sector to be interested in the new proposal marketed by MGA Industrial, which includes a self-prohibited registration and verification software that meets the requirements of existing regulations.

The MGA Access Bio system is based on fingerprint biometrics technology and has been developed by MGA Industrial together with its partner, Intemo Technologies, specialized in the development of advanced identification products and solutions, with extensive experience in the control of high critical access and influx in the leisure sector.

During the presentation conducted by Artur Porta, general director of MGA Industrial, were highlighted the main properties of the MGA Access Bio system, standing out for guaranteeing univocal and non-transferable access, with recognition through an algorithm based on 85 fingerprint reading points , not conditioned by the environment or changes in the physiognomy of the user and with the impossibility of reconstructing the user’s footprint for other purposes.

The general director of MGA Industrial defined with five adjectives the MGA Access Bio system: reliable, fast, compatible, robust and accurate. The reliability offered by its optical biometric sensor (500 dpi) with wide image area (14x22mm). Fast for authentication in 1: N (0.8 seconds), 1: 1 (0.6 seconds). Compatibility given by its compatible template format ISO 19794-2 or ANSI / INCITS 378. Robustness due to its resistance to scratches, electrostatic discharge and shock. And accuracy, False Acceptance Rate, with false positives adjustment below 10-8, depending on the level of security required.

The meeting has also allowed us to carry out on-site demonstrations of the two models of the MGA Access Bio system: MGA Fast Pass and MGA Pasarela Duo, which have aroused great interest for their functionality and accuracy.

The MGA Fast Pass model has surprised by its simplicity and efficiency, ideal for limited spaces; modern design, integrated fingerprint reader and a welcome screen to approve or deny the access. While the model MGA Pasarela Dúo offers a versatile and elegant structure, with led signaling, audible and light alerts that warn of intrusions and attempts of multiple access. Both systems also have validation by the GDPR and option to control entry or entry and exit.

The workshop has included the projection of a video of the product in which the operation of MGA Access Bio was described in detail and clearly, from the process of registering new users, identity validation, access annotation or registration of databases as well as the resolution of hypothetical irregular access to the gambling halls when, for example, a person tries

access the room without identifying itself.

The event has ended with a brunch by Sergi Arola, the perfect moment to to the MGA Industrial team to hear the opinions and questions of the and have a exchange of impressions.
